President congratulates Dr. Ahmedinejad

President Mahinda Rajapaksa congratulated Dr. Mahmoud Ahmedinejad who was re-elected as President of Iran.

 

'The Government and the people of Sri Lanka join me in congratulating you on your re-election as the President of Iran and this is joyous news to us since we consider you as a close of friend of our country', the President said in his message.

The President Rajapaksa further said that the close ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened to greater heights for the mutual benefit of both countries.

Its proud of us that our president has close ties with Iran and palstine , It shows that he is the man no fear for wester and US ,
This is not easy to face the world but like our president who has the guts and will power can do , weldone and congrats
