UPFA will challenge Gen Fonseka's victory, if elected

The UPFA today declared that it would challenge the victory of General (retd) Sarath Fonseka in Courts in the event of an victory to him as he was not a voter.


Minister Susil Premjayantha and other ministers in a joint press conference said that despite the Commissioner of Elections Dayananda Dissanayaka claiming that the factor he was not a voter had no bearing on being elected the matter would be challenged in courts.
