Ceylon Workers' Congress takes up the ministries again

Sri Lanka's major Upcountry Tamil constituent Ceylon Workers' Congress (CWC) members reassumed the portfolios they left behind several months back.

 

The CWC leader took oaths as a cabinet Minister while four MPs swore in as deputy ministers this morning before the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

 

CWC leader Arumugam Thondaman swore in as cabinet Minister of Youth Empowerment and Socio Economic Development while Sangaralingam Sellasamy, Muttu Sivalingam, Murugan Satchithanandan and Shanmugam Jegathgeeswaran swore in as Deputy Ministers of Posts, Estate Infrastructure, Education and National Integration respectively.
