Army recovered LTTE weapons

The army has recovered a large number of LTTE weapons, car, van and cabs during a search operation in the liberated area of Narakamulla and Tharavai.

A car, a van, three motorbikes, a hunter van, a cab, 25 bombs, a claymore and a 120 mm mortar was recovered in the area.

In another search operation in the Pulipaanchakal area, 2 claymores of 15 kilos each and a wire roll were recovered. These goods were left behind by the LTTE when they fled the east.
